Medical industry

Developers of equipment used in medicine, rehabilitation and the pharmaceutical industry have been customers of Tarmetec since 1998.

In cooperation with them, we manufacture operating table components and accessories for performing various operations and accessories for storing these elements in the operating area. For all the listed products, high manufacturing precision is important to avoid any system failure at critical moments of the operation. In the case of devices used for transporting people with reduced mobility, the mechanical strength of the structures is important. We manufacture stationary and mobile loading systems for the transport and sterilization of medical supplies. In addition to the metal parts manufactured by us, these devices contain both electrical and electronic components and plastic parts, which are either manufactured by our subcontractors or delivered by us for assembly from a supplier selected by the end customer.

70% of the products we manufacture for use in the medical field are ready for final use. In our factory, they receive a unique product number (which allows the details of the production process to be identified afterwards), undergo a functional final inspection, are equipped with the necessary user manuals and finally are packaged according to the customer’s instructions.

The production quantities of devices used in the medical field are not very large. The field is also characterized by a multitude of different product modifications. Our broad technological capability, which includes various technologies for the manufacture, assembly and finishing of parts, allows us to offer our customers better conditions than our competitors in terms of both delivery speed and manufacturing costs.
